C&F Mortgage is excited to announce the addition of Will Ballentine to the Alverser branch as SVP / Branch Manager. Will began his career in the mortgage industry in 1995 as an underwriter and operations manager. For over 20 years, Will has been on the sales side with roles in both retail and wholesale as a top 5% producer.
Prior to joining C&F Mortgage, he spent the last 10 years in a sales management role providing an environment to make his team the most successful they could be. He was promoted to a regional SVP over Central Virginia in 2018 where he prioritized his direct relationships with his agents, builders and clients. With almost 30+ years of experience in the mortgage industry and experience in both operations and sales, Will shared that the best part of his career is being able to make a positive difference in people’s lives and helping others uncover their potential. By joining C&F, he believes he will be able to help even more borrowers become homeowners. “Being a part of a full-service bank that can help my clients and partnerships with any of their banking needs allows me to be more effective in my role. When Will considers his greatest accomplishments in life, he thinks about his family. “Being married for nearly 30 years with 4 grown children and one grandson has been wonderful. When we are all together and I think of what we have been through together in life, I am so thankful for the gift they are to me,” he stated. Will prioritizes others and is motivated by collaboration and input from his colleagues to make things better – something we think will make him a valuable asset to our company. Will also brought with him Lynne Lockhart, his production assistant, who is a critical asset to his team and supporting future growth.
