Program Highlights:
- $10,000 grant for down payment and closing costs; no repayment required
- Available only with Virginia Housing Bond loans (Conventional, FHA, VA, RHS Bond)
- Can be combined with Plus Second Mortgage, DPA Grant, or CCA Grant (lowest income limit applies if combined)
- Standard/bond income limits apply (or higher targeted area limits, unless used with DPA/CCA Grant)
- Borrower must be employed (or retired from) eligible service-oriented roles (educators, law enforcement, firefighters, first responders, military, healthcare)
- Community Heroes Certification required
